My name is Magan Lear. I graduated from Murray State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. I started my career with GAH the same year. My love for animals doesn’t end at work, my husband and I are raising 5 dogs together and a few chickens! Pictured here with me is one of my favorite patients, Mr. Magoo.
Bree Powell
Licensed Veterinary Technician
My name is Bree. I started my journey in veterinary medicine in 2019 in Russellville, Ky before joining GAH in 2022. I graduated from OCTC’S Veterinary Technology program in 2024 where I became a licensed veterinary technician. My favorite part of my job is surgery and the types of cases I get to see in there. I also enjoy educating clients and caring for their fur babies. I especially love my feline patients! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my partner Nick, our son Keegan, and our fur children Rosebud, Gus, Bella, and Ember. I can’t wait to meet you
Grace Whitaker

My name is Grace Whitaker. I am a licensed veterinary technician and have worked at GAH since 2023. I graduated from OCTC in 2025 studying veterinary technology. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hunting, spending time with friends and family., and hanging out with my lab Goose! I look forward to caring for you and your pets!
Rose Smith
Veterinary Assistant
My name is Rose Smith. I’ve been with GAH since 1998. I know most of our clients by their first name. I thoroughly enjoy helping with their 4 legged family members. I have one dog named Mick Jagger who comes to work with me and a cat named Winnie. Outside of the clinic, I spend time with my church family and I enjoy working in my flower garden. I feel very blessed to work at the clinic as long as I have.
Kristi Durall
Veterinary Assistant
Kristi has been in veterinary medicine for 30 years and joined GAH in June 2023. She says she loves surgery and dentals are her favorite. She also enjoys being in appointments and interacting with the clients and taking care of their pets. She loves it all. She also loves spending time with her family, going to church, taking care of her flowers, watching hummingbirds, and taking care of her animals. Her husband will be retiring soon and she is looking forward to traveling with him.
Kaylee Angus

My name is Kaylee Angus. I’m currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s vet tech program hoping to become a LVT very soon! Being able to help these fur babies is such a fulfilling experience! I have 2 dogs; Julie and Saylor. My husband and I just welcomed our first baby boy into the world in April 25′. When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and reading!
Angela Martin

Hi! My name is Angela. I have been at GAH for almost 10 years. I have a vet tech degree from Harrison College. I have been in a clinic setting for close to 11 years. I’m married to the love of my life Justin and we have a beautiful little girl, Kaitlyn. We have 3 dogs, a lab mix named Hoss, a boxer mix named Rosie, and a heeler mix named Willie. We also have a cat named Butterscotch. This has been a dream of mine since I was 7. I love what I do. I got into this career because I love animals and want to help them and their owners. In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family.
Alexis Smith

Hello! My name is Alexis Smith. I began my journey at GAH in 2018, and I truly enjoy my role and the amazing team here! I’ve been passionate about animals since I was a child. I’m married to my best friend, and we share a beautiful daughter, with another on the way. I have 5 furry companions: Franklin (dachshund), Asher (dachshund), Odie (dachshund), Lucy (basset), and Bucky (mixed breed).
Donna Chenault
Veterinary Assistant
Donna has been a dedicated member of the GAH team for over five years. A certified dog trainer and licensed horse riding instructor, she brings a wide range of skills to the clinic. Before joining GAH, she served as Director of the Muhlenberg County Humane Society and worked with the Death Row Dog Program at Green River Correctional Facility. Passionate about animal behavior, Donna never meets an animal she doesn’t love. In her free time, she enjoys life on her farm with her own fur babies.
Landon Groves

My name is Landon Groves and I am currently a veterinary assistant at GAH. I am in my third year of undergraduate studies at UK, majoring in animal science. Following graduation, I plan to pursue veterinary school and earn my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree to continue building a career in the field I am most passionate about.
