Dr. Evans

Dr Paul Evans graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After 12 years in a large mixed animal practice, he and his family moved in 2015 to Zambia, Africa to pursue veterinary mission work with Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM). After 3 years of doing development work in the veterinary field, they moved back to the United States in 2018. They chose to come to Greenville to be near family and in 2020 purchased Greenville Animal Hospital from Dr Berry.

Dr Evans lives on Lake Malone with his wife Alicia and they have 3 children. Isaac and his wife, MaryAnn, are in veterinary school at Auburn and both graduate in 2029. Ethan is a senior in high school and enjoys working at the clinic this year as a Co-op student. Rachel is a sophomore and enjoys playing basketball for the Lady Mustangs. They also have two dogs, Loretta and Maggie, and 1 cat named Kaze.

You may see Alicia around as she has her office upstairs where she does marriage and family counseling!

Dr. Berry

Dr. Steve Berry grew up on a farm near Elkton, Ky. He graduated from Murray State University and then received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University.

After receiving his degree, he practiced at several animal hospitals in Kentucky and Tennessee. Dr. Berry founded the Greenville Animal Hospital in 1985 and opened its doors in the building currently occupied by Brittany’s House of Flowers. In 1990, he constructed and moved the hospital into its current building.
In 2020, he transitioned from full time to part time practice and continues to see patients three days a week.

In his free time, Dr. Berry enjoys working in the yard and traveling. Dr. Berry and his wife Cheryl live in Greenville with their cats Smokey and Jack.
